“Aiyo! Why your hair like that!?”

That pretty much sums up most of the reaction after I bleached my hair for fun, and I looked like Hikaru from Hikaru No Go.

It all started when i was 17…

First it was when i first dyed my hair – Gosh i was damn happy. I did it at Chapter 2.

Then I was invited by Toni & Guy to get my hair done and colored…. with hot pink highlights. Couldn’t find the pic.

Then a hair makeover by Kimage (where i had purple), and i stopped being so crazy and continued sticking to my safe, boring browns.

Then my dear hairstylist jio-ed me to be her model in a hair show for Kimage/Chapter2. Okay lor.

AND I ENDED UP WITH BLACK HAIR!! For a week. Hahaha.

Before it eventually became……

Highlighted with green.

It slowly faded and i re-did my hair in blue and green again, but the blue refused to show. :/

So i decided to go all the way out and try to bleach two parts, the top (my fringe) and a patch at the bottom, it till it was the lightest shade it could go and then apply blue. Anyway i had vouchers for them so it was free.

I had to split it into 2 days. The pic above was after session/day 1. Gosh.

I was already pretty hard to miss. A taxi even stopped for me after it had passed me 3 meters on. I wasn’t even by the side of the road yet! Believe it or not, I went to meet some very important people with that orange hair.

And here’s the final product. Sadly, due to the lack of a nice shade of blue, i decided to leave it alone and just color the bottom bleached part with some leftover dye from the sheep boyfriend’s collection. And because some parts of my hair refused to go any whiter (and even broke off!!), they turned green after adding the blue dye. Hahaha!

I guess Manic Panic’s virgin snow really did work quite a bit on me, but perhaps I have to leave it on a little longer. After Elaine told me about Shiseido having pepsi blue, i was quite GIEN TO re-do the whole top part blue!!! Hope that I am able buy it from them. Hohoho.

Ahhhhhh. I now want lotsa colors from Manic Panic. The colors are awesome can.

But i guess i’ll go back to my boring brown for the new year so that i wouldn’t scare the shit out of all my relatives and then some. :p
