Ling makes Bee Hoon

I hardly cook. Okay yes I cannot cook to save my life.

So very recently (today), in a bid to make myself feel more “wifey” (erm….) I’ve decided to wake up at seven in the morning (UNGODLY HOUR!) and make beehoon for the sheep fiancé to bring to the office to eat.

I survived!!!!!
And he survived!!!!

But according to him, i quote verbatim:

“The seasoning enough for four people. Very salty. I dunno why but the bee hoon like clump together one. But the taste is there, and got big love. : D”

Oh well. So here’s the recipe i kop-ed from my mum.

What you need:
- Pork leg. Those canned ones. Ready made. x1 can.
- Bee hoon. Be sure to find those thin ones. x1 packet
- Salt
- Sugar
- Dark Soya Sauce

And this is how to make the poisonous bee hoon creation:
- Soak bee hoon in water. Make sure you soak it long enough!
- Take out the pork leg. Debone it. Keep the the meat and remaining sauce apart.
- Heat up the sauce
- Add a little water
- Add dark soya sauce
- Add some Salt
- Add a little bit of Sugar
- Throw in the bee hoon
- Roll bee hoon under low fire
- Somewhere in the midst of it all, throw in the meat.
- Taste and serve!

Erm. I guess it turned out too salty cos when I queried my mum on how much salt and how much dark soya sauce, she said…

Me: How much dark soya sauce and salt to put?
Mum: A bit!
Me: How much is a bit!?
Mum: Not too dark.
Me: …..
Bro (using mum’s hp): Good luck ar sis. :p

-_-” I’ll try again. *Pats Yang’s tummy*

I’m very hungry now. And I have to eat. And since I didn’t make enough for the both of us (bad agaration), I shall go make some trusty maggie mee now. Heh. Maggie love. <3
