Retail Therapy.

After running around for 3 whole weeks being a sales woman in the day and designer at night…. What else is better than retail therapy and some time off?

Tuesday
Picked up my present from a darling in somerset, had lunch with Lynette at Ippudo, did my brows at browhaus (T_T pain.) and went to Kinokuniya Ngee Ann City to get Popteen (alas. Not avail in store yet) and ended up with a mook and eyeliner from Watsons.

Friday
After Ippudo AGAINNNNN with Veron, got my magazines and scooted upstairs to get paper for my client (100, 160, 200, 240 (but all packed up in reams), and 290gsm? And that’s all Art Friends have!? Does anyone know where to get paper of various weights and sizes?).

Waltzed into NBC stationery and…. and… both Veron and I fell in love with a note book. note pad. Whatever. Simply Gorgeous.

It’s a squared notebook tucked into a folder, and you can replace the pad if you need to. You can also tear out the pages if needed / necessary. To be honest, I fell in love with the notebook, but bought the folder to keep the notebook from getting dog-eared in my messy bag. It costs 9.95 for the notebook, but the notebook + folder costs $19.95! I can retire my jotter book looking notebook from Muji soon!

After an angry conversation leading to me being unable to digest my cake, met up with Yang and headed to look at shoes in Takashimaya. MY KATE SPADE!!!!!! It’s my size, the perfect red, super comfy… but it’s 600 dollars. *bitter*

I was actually looking around online at Rakuten at boots. And I saw the perfect pair from Esperanza. Typical of Japan, the sizes only come in S,M,L…. but even if i wanted to buy it at 7000+ yen, IT WAS SOLD OUT!!!!!!! Bah. And so was the next shirt i saw from Gilfy. And more. : |

So after wandering around Taka some more, I saw the perfect pair of boots from Guess shoes. I tried it on, it looks perfect! But it only came in size 5.5. GRRRRRRRRR.

I dragged Yang over to the Guess store at the other end of Ngee Ann City, and WTF! Only size 5.5 : | but, but but… the nice salesman went over to Paragon (i assume) and got size 5 back for me! It was destiny lah okay. My feet’s very choosy and small so when this was a perfect fit, I WAS SOLD! Ka-ching! $209………. Shit. 3x of this can get 1 pair of my Kate Spade Gwen in red python print.

Lovely Miya met up with us at Cine and passed me my kankan hat purchased from Sneep dig on Rakuten with her : D ~

I’m still drooling over the boots. I could sleep with them.
