I got myself a ring light! (Yes, the Xiaxue/Cheesie ring light!) A bit slow, but realized I was looking in all the wrong places and snapped up Valerie’s one as she was selling hers away. Good lighting is essential for great photos. Love them! And yes that’s my new hair color. : x My hiao test subjects. Carol, Evey, Veronica! Taken with my 50D. Almost forgot how to use it jeez…. Had a great dinner at beach cabana and a really enjoyable chit-chat session by the sea. The breeze was soooooo good.
Color of the Month: Freshlook Colorblends Honey + Giveaway!
I loved Pure Hazel, and I just had to find more browns to suit my hair color so I opened Honey from my Freshlook Colorblends stash. OMG I FEEL LIKE ONE OF THE CULLENS. The color is extremely intense, and like Brilliant Blue & Gemstone Green, the color really pops on me. Pure Hazel (dailies) is lighter in comparison, but the color is not as intense as Honey. The color, being brown, was a neutral shade so I played with some light peachy colors. I used MAC Spring Color Forecast Crushed Metal Pigment Stack 1 – Purple & Pink here, coupled with my Kate liquid eyeliner. Can’t get out of that winged tip…

Visited them last last week with Wendy, Ron & Daniel for lunch on a weekday. The place is dimly lit, I think it’s some kind of Japanese thing going on (similar to Ippudo but Ippudo was louder with a touch of red) to have dark atmosphere with mood lightings. Anyhoos. The food. Miso Ebi: The set comes with this: Nii tamago, chicken, and vegetables. Spicy Ebi Miso: Wendy’s Crab Stock Ramen. This was a limited offer I think. Not on the main menu. Mine! I can’t believe that I’ve had Nubar Night Sparkle on for so long. I’m still amazed by it. (And it hasn’t really chipped yet – some tip wear, but that’s normal) Added on some snowflake stickers/decals from Japan. *still mesmerized* Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It’s so sparkly!!! (Sorry about the lousy picture quality – taken with my BlackBerry.) Now I regret not getting Violet Sparkle as well! P/S – Thanks Karla for the feature! ; )
