Keisuke Tokyo @ Parco Marina, Singapore
Visited them last last week with Wendy, Ron & Daniel for lunch on a weekday.
The place is dimly lit, I think it’s some kind of Japanese thing going on (similar to Ippudo but Ippudo was louder with a touch of red) to have dark atmosphere with mood lightings.
Anyhoos. The food.
Miso Ebi:

The set comes with this:
Nii tamago, chicken, and vegetables.

Spicy Ebi Miso:

Wendy’s Crab Stock Ramen. This was a limited offer I think. Not on the main menu.

Mine! No garnishing, no nothing… The normal Ebi Ramen. Still comes with chicken chunks and veggies, which I thorougly enjoyed!

We were there for the famous ebi stock soup ramen…
It turned out to be too oily and I was rather disappointed. Thank god we washed it down with their free-flow (hot) green tea (by pot) and water. It smelt great, and was very presentable with saffron on top, nice bowls and all but really, it was just too greasy for me to stomach. Else the soup would have been fantastic.
Their nii-tamango was not too bad though, as I prefer less salty eggs (as compared to Marutama Ramen, wah that one can make me squirm) but seems like everyone else around me found it not flavorful enough. *shrugs* At least it wasn’t that crowded. : p
One thing though, the waitress has excellent photo taking skills.
And I am lousy at keeping my eyes open. *squint squint*
