Mermaid's Tears
This was really a little hard to capture – So i had to do some photo editing to make the color fit. It really looked like Orly’s Ancient Jade from their Precious collection, and I just had to compare:

Orly’s Ancient Jade is a tad brighter, they were almost dupes, but not really. I prefer Mermaid’s Tears actually. I think the entire OPI collection had a little murkiness added to them, and the “dullness” is distinguishable, but still sweet.
Planks-A-Lot
Another color hard to capture and I had to edit this a little – It’s a nice pastel – but not terribly unique to me – Reminds me of the purple from the Shrek collection but i’m sure that’s brighter and slightly than this.
Steady As She Rose
This is a really, really, REALLY light lilac. It’s not pink like the previous swatches I featured (which were not mine!) on the preview post – it surprised me somewhat, but I like it. And yes, murky lilac.

Creme brown. Not my type.

Grey white shimmer. Nice, but I prefer cremes for this kindda shade! : p I think this would look good with a matte top coat over it.

It doesn’t really shatter as pretty as I thought it would, but I really love how it looks over Essie Aruba Blue, and also surprisingly, it looked really nice over Sparrow Me The Drama. : D

I’ve been eyeing the Mermaid’s Tears, Planks a Lot, and Sparrow Me the Drama from the Pirates collection… but gonna wait to get mine from a pre-order since it’s cheaper heh.
By the way… it’s crazy how low OPI prices are going and how there are so many suppliers these days. My classmates just told me about a SHOP in chinatown that sells OPI @ $9.50 and I’ve had suppliers email me to say they can sell OPI @ $8.50 with minimum order of 10. o.O
I couldn’t wait so I paid more! Hahaha. I just love OPI’s brush lah, Orly’s one damn thin!
I’ve heard of the shop in Chinatown, they really sell a lot of stuff! I saw OPIs going for $13.90 at Bugis St too – this is a really low price for local stores.
You should get them! $8.50 is quite a good price, especially since i think you’ll need to expand your polish collection for work right? I heard that recently suppliers just increased the cost for a lot of stuff (top coats, opis) so the blogshops prices are all going up!
