So some significant purchases in Italy and Barcelona…

Ferragamo Heels

Have never been a fan of Ferragamo, but which girl doesn’t love shoes, especially when the heels are so pretty!?

Costs 318 € before VAT refund. This was at sales price marked down from $450 IIRC.

Bottega Bracelet

I saw it in pink… And the rest was history. Happy color!

Costs 160 € before VAT refund.

I got one more happy color purchase in Italy, it was such an exciting moment!!! But I’m not gonna talk about it here : p moving on.

Chanel Earrings

Was super happy when I went to Chanel in Barcelona and saw a HUGE selection of earrings. Since euros are standard across all countries the prices are the same too for Italy and Barcelona, and I believe Paris should be priced the same too. The only difference would be VAT and min purchase amount? Italy has a min spending of 150+ euros and Barcelona has a min of 90+ euros. And you never know what design’s gonna turn up at which area/shop. So I pounced on these earrings.

I already have a smaller pair, but these are just so nice and it’s a mid sized one (there are larger ones) and the “C”s aren’t too skinny! It looks really aesthetically pleasing. In silver.

Another pair of classics, the double C with pearls! In gold this time. These costs 190 € before VAT refunds.

If I average it out and get back 8% of vat at least, the earrings would cost around $265 per pair, which still offers pretty substantial savings as compared to local prices ($330 for the normal small C earrings?!) : p

And oh yes. Bag prices are going up. Hermes, Chanel.. A good 10%. In fact the SA at Chanel Barcelona (who was really friendly) told me that the very next day prices would be going up. Aiyah, I no money buy Chanel. >_<

My favorite words for Europe in January... Sales, Rebaixes (sales in Catalayan) and Tax FREE!!! January is basically when sales start. Usually after the 8th!

Not haolian okay, I know some people would like to know how much certain stuff cost in each state and how much rebates we get. No one offered me those info!!!
