EyesCream Gel Pencil / EyesCream Liquid Eyeliner By MSH Labo
Picked up these eyeliners by MSH Labo (I got the LoveLiner too!) in Japan over at Donki : D (Seriously, I do some major shopping there every time I’m in Japan. I think I spend too much there each trip. THEY HAVE SO MUCH STUFF TO BUY!!!!)

MSH Labo’s EyesCream website: http://www.msh-labo.com/eyescream/
EYEScream ah, not eyeSCREAM! (haha…)

They come in some seriously shiny and hard to take picture of packaging. *sweats*
Liquid Eyeliner, 1000 JPY
Comes in 2 colors, Coffee Black or Brown. 0.1mm fine tip, contains 0.55ml, and it’s fragrance free!
Gel Eyeliner (In a pencil form!), 1260 JPY
I thought this was really unique! It comes in 4 colors, and I picked up the one in Coffee Black. Packaging was full of warnings about how you can only twist the pen ONE-WAY, so be sure not to over twist! 0.28g of product in this.

Liquid Eyeliner made in Japan, Gel Eyeliner made in Germany

EYESCREAM Liquid Eyeliner (left), Gel Eyeliner (right)
Lined my eyes halfway with the Gel Eyeliner. I really quite like it, but it’s kindda dark and harsh for the lower lash line – I like to use it over the liquid eyeliner as I prefer it wing-ed out with a sharp end. The gel eyeliner intensifies and doubles the staying power. This isn’t smudge proof though, so try to refrain from rubbing your eyes.

Wearing FreshLook ColorBlends (Monthlies) in Sterling Grey (Super love this color!) and used Make Up Store Glitter Eyeliner in Queen
Wished I picked up all the other colors of the Gel eyeliner! >__< The turquoise/green (lime?! why name it lime?!) looks so nice!
Heyas!
You know one of those trips where you go and find nothing to buy but after you are back, you start to realise a lot of things are from there and hard to get in sg?
I’m trying to minimize that by checking in with you on things to get in Tokyo. =D
I was in Japan in 2011 but after reading your blog, there seems to be a whole new world out there for me to splurge precious little yen on.
Mind sharing on things you have to get when in Tokyo? Beauty and cuteness wise? I pass on clothes since half the clothes there fit only one of my thighs. *wry grin*
HAHAHAHAHA! Your comment is really adorable, wished I get more questions like yours! Hehe.
Anyway, it all boils down to what you like – I like dolls, toys and such so I tend to spend a little more over there.
You can get this Kai eyebrow scissors, avail in most drugstores! I love them for trimming my eyebrows though I’m not really sure if it’s avail in sg.
The new dollywink lashes are really really awesome! And with the low yen rates it’s about $21? As compared to nearly $25 here. There is also DUP, Ayamo Rock and Jewerich lashes – very lovely but not as cheap as HK (Hk’s variety isn’t as much either..) but a lot of new brands that other countries don’t carry.
Basically, some of the available y drugstore brands are cheaper in JP (e.g Kanebo, Maquillage) but not totally. Do your price conversions!
I usually hit the drugstores first – especially Don Quijote which is more of a Singaporean Mustafa. The Shinjuku one opens 24 hours (stay in that area – you will love night shopping and the massive Amt of arcades and cute toys in those UFO catcher machines!) and has like a whole aisle (or two) of eyelashes! Grab some eyeliner, eyebrow mascaras that are not avail here – you need to do a check at watsons to know what’s avail, you can check sasa out too so you know if it’s worth getting, they are always bringing new stuff into Singapore…
I personally like the Love Eyeliners, as well as this MSH eye cream one – though the Korean CLIO one in watsons is highly raved and well loved as well!
The must get brand would be Laudrees (Laduree? I’m bad at this brand name damn) as its only available in Japan now – a must grab!
If you like nail art and do DIY your nails, check out NailTat – google for it. They have some really unique nail art stickers and all! Worth getting.
I know what you mean about the clothes, hahsha. They are also so terribly expensive!
If you do like toys, do visit Nakano Broadway (Nakano station). There is a building thT is full of toys! Just ask for directions to Broadway. Some huge drugstores there too, and cake shops with really awesome cakes.
Harajuku is a must walk, and best to visit on Sundays as that is “cosplay” day! I still like visiting Shibuya 109 for accessories as well (start from top most level) and there are limited edition SBY x Diamond lashes available.
Around the corner of Shibuya is this place called Loft, which is a few levels of cute! From home items to stationary to make up and all. Super awesome.
Hope that helps! You can email me personally if you have any more questions!! : D evonnz at gmail
I’m like an OCDer… I read whole blogs after I find an interesting post, just to see if we have commonalities. “Obviously” I ODed on you (er… yr blog) after I read about the MSH Labo Eyescream Liner post. I saw someone using it on a YT video and that flash of her gliding the pencil on so quickly caught me. Ok so… from there I googled, found yr post on the liner, marauded your blog (congrats on the wedding btw!), applauded that you did Tromso (one of my favs) and then wrote to you and prayed you wouldn’t flip me the finger. *pant pant* Moral of story… I forgot. Ah yes! Moral is I think we like almost the same things. Only thing diff would be the dolls. I learnt something new from your blog too. Mook! Like I never knew Japanese magazines had em? Crap girl… if you start a new habit for me on my existing overspending habit on all things interesting, I might need to ship myself out in a box and hope someone adopts me.
I was accosted by an obasaan in one of those beauty shops actually. Tried on a powder and after buying that darn bling compact, walked to the subway whilst doing mental sums in head and did a minor shriek, sending some Japanese men scurrying away from me. That was $60 on a chapalang powder from a brand I have never heard of. It sits on my dresser now, mocking me silently, ever so often. Apparently that powder looked good in winter and back in chilli padi Sg, it has little coverage and streaks. Thanks Obasaan! I would like to say I will remember her and hunt her down if I didn’t have amnesia so often.
Im staying in Shinjuku and hitting Harajuku on the day I arrive (Sunday) *grinning like a proud teacher’s pet*. Ooh after Tokyo in April, I’m due for HK in July. Been there heaps and spend hours trolling Bonjour, Watson’s like a stalker.
Thanks for the tips on toys and make up. I wish I hadn’t returned my nihongo to my sensei, least I can read labels and not be slathering body wash on legs as moisturizer (I did that in Lappland this year and the words on bottle IS in English). I pray Laudrees or Lauduree (the parisian tea room?!?!) is written in English. Coz half the time I speak English to them, they go ehto. They reply in Japanese to me and I go ehto. (I’m sure my sensei would be so proud of this ‘cultural’ exchange I’m having).
I’m sorry … but are you comatose yet?? So much to say… so little consciousness avail in others. Heh!
*blush* you find me interesting! do you blog too? hahaha. cos you’re probably the most interesting commenter I have too seriously. I laughed out loud while reading this and my husband was rolling his eyes at me. I’m not comatose yet, just took me a while to digest and spit out a reply : x
You’re SO gonna love the mooks there (better variety, cheaper than sg, cute, etc etc). I was stuck thinking of what I should bring back cos I didn’t want to waste throwing the magazine away just for the GWP! (I’ve been guilty… once or twice *whistles*)
HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA about the Obasaan!!! I hope you find another use for it! (Probably try a different way of application? I go over compacts with a brush sometimes instead of the sponge applicator)
Oh my on the staying and visiting Harajuku on Sunday – You get 5 stars! *pins on you* I love wolfgang puck express in harajuku! <3 Super nice steaks. Ahhhh then you probably shouldn't overspend on certain brands cos you know, HK has quite a fair bit of them! Just that after visiting Guangzhou I started doubting the authenticity... The DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape is much cheaper in HK too, it's about 69 HKD (13sgd?) *chirps* I got like 6 boxes back *kiasu* and yes, I loveeee Bonjour! They have these BeautyWorld Nail Polish Trio which I so love. Here read: http://evonnz.com/2011/04/28/turquoise-gradient-notd-lotds/
No problem on the tips, more than happy to share – actually my husband has even more to share if you don’t mind stuff that are non-beauty related, haha.
read on maps: http://kenshinjeff.jp/2009/12/16/shopping-and-area-maps-for-tokyo/
(superfuture maps are a must get! – for all the shopping places of course…)
I don’t understand Japanese too, but my friend was able to get by the Laduree help staff (I assume they would be able to speak quite a fair amt of english since they’re working for such an attas brand!) and I personally had no problems communicating in Tokyo. In Hokkaido though… *pulls hair* I have yet to blog about that!
Thankies for the mappies! I DLed them already and will pour over it in the plane. Yea… that’s me… living ‘dangerously’, Bwahahahaha! Tell your hub-bubs thankies. I lub his mappies long time.
Sadly, I don’t blog. Mainly coz I have a strong suspicion watching grass grow might be more interesting than reading my blogs. And I’m saving the world at large from having to stab their own eyes out before I’m done with each ‘thesis-like’ entry.
I’ve been a good gurlie…. been trolling Watson’s and Guardian to get a feel of what’s out there. Don’t see much but then again, I rarely do. I tend to just order my stuff from US and then some or bring in a motherload whenever I travel rather than go out and be uninspired by local selections.
