You probably would have heard of it or seen it around by now – Shiseido’s latest range of skincare, Ibuki, gets you ready for anything! Their latest skincare range addresses a wide range of problems like breakouts, visible pores and dryness – and the best part? Nothing’s above $66!
To celebrate the success of the Ibuki range in Singapore, Shiseido has brought back the Shiseido Parlour, a little cafe set up at the entrance of Tangs Orchard, serving you a special set of tea and confectioneries specially flown in all the way from Ginza, Japan – where the original Shiseido Parlour is located at!
All you have to do is to make an appointment with the Shiseido counter in Tangs Orchard (+65 6733 2589) for a complimentary and personalized Moisture & Skin resistance check to understand your skin better! The Shiseido Parlour closes on the Oct 1st, so you still have two more days to get this done! (I’m so sorry I posted this so late!)
I popped by last week because I was curious – despite working with Shiseido, I’ve never gotten myself a skin check with them and I was curious about what the analysis would be!
I was served tea, chocolates, chocolate cake and cheesecake! Scrumptious and oh-so-sinful – but soooooo good!
The little machine gives you a closer look at your skin (you can request to see for yourself!) – looking at your hydration level, pores and pigmentation on your face!
Then they move on to the next device, to measure how much moisture you have in your skin:
I was thankfully, somewhere in the middle. *whew*
And the last step, was to check for your skin’s resistance, by using a piece of special sticker they call the exfoliation tape, which is first stuck onto an area of your face, then later onto a black circle and then compared against 3 different resistance levels.
On the overall, my skin turned out to be doing okay – with the exception of a very oily T-zone, that is. Whew! I’m still pretty spotty on some parts of my face, so I was ordered by Miss Hay to use the Ibuki sample set I was provided with! XD Thank you so much, Shiseido!
It’s 11am now, so if you’re working in the area, why don’t you call them up and see if you can get yourself an afternoon slot and pop by during lunch, or make an appointment in the evening perhaps? There’s always something to do in town! ; )
