Ling

I’m a designer, doing work & blogging on a MBP. For my pictures, I am usually armed with the iPhone’s camera, Panasonic GF2/LX3, the MBP’s webcam, and occasionally, the Canon 50D (it’s really heavy!). And oh I’m using a ring light for some of those suddenly-turned-pretty pictures, man the ring light rocks and is the best pre-photoshop/lightroom editing thing i’ve ever bought.

I’m a partner in 2 companies, first a design coy Aurorae, where I transform a blank canvas into works of art on the web and print. I also own an online shop specializing in leggings, stockings and accessories. It’s called Risque.

I like to sleep. I dig trance. I have an adorable husky. I love my awesomepossum family. And what completes me is my boyfriendHusband, Yang. We got married on May 21st, 2011! : )

I’m a sucker for cup corn with lotsa salt and butter, and I like sitting down enjoying a glass of good (usually iced) earl grey tea, or a cup of hot chocolate and just doing my thing in a cafe. No, I don’t drink coffee. I seem to patronize Ion Orchard & Takashimaya pretty often nowadays, despite being home-based… likely because there’s Kinokuniya! And parking at ION is SUPER easy. Have you seen the width of those slopes? If only all shopping centres’ car parks were made like that! (Liang Court, 313, are you listening?!) I also have an unsatisfiable desire to visit Japan over and over again – I sure wouldn’t mind living there for good!

Oh! I am anal about toilets (no prizes for guessing why I frequent ION so much!).
If your office has a disgusting toilet, please let me know before you invite me over.
I can never understand why, or how people can squat on toilet seats/bowls to do their business!

I don’t think I can write as well as say, Catherine Lim (useless fact: I have read ALL her books) Tommy Wee or Jason Hahn (my favorites from 8 days), but I enjoy saving some memories on this space since I have the memory of a goldfish. I’m of course, also vain and enjoy some attention *cough* so please show me some love? Hahaha.
