It was my birthday yesterday (shameless yah haha) and I’ve been SUPER busy catching up with work and my family. Nearly exploded as I was fed too much during dinner – I think that’s the happiest way to spend my birthdays – EATING!!! So In Japan…. Catching Drum Tao’s performance in Singapore, held at the Esplanade was a great way to kick start awesome September. XKCD’s Tribute to Geocities
Jeremy pasted this link to me. I got a shock of my life when i saw XKCD’s site like this. www.xkcd.com (in case you don’t read xkcd yet, you should! and bookmark it too – it’s awesome.) Ahhhh brings back memories about the old school Geocities/Alamak Hackchat days. Awww. How we fumbled with Geocities’ Site Builder and had rainbow colored text all over black backgrounds. Not forgetting the little moving gifs. With marquees! I think it was actually quite hard to replicate it to this result! Hahaha! And the footer’s simply classic. Best viewed in 800 x 600. (Netscape!??!?!?!)
