I got to try some of Kate’s Spring/Summer 2012 offerings and I was pretty hyped about trying it as I LOVE Kate cosmetics. The prices for Kate in Singapore are really reasonable too, especially with the crazy yen exchange rate right now. For e.g, the Kate Deep Liquid Eyeliner costs 1400 JPY in Japan. I got these 3 shades from Tammy of timtam00.blogspot.com (Have you checked out her GSS selection yet? I’ve always been on the lookout for great french manicure shades, and this selection was just great! Honestly it was always a hit and miss – Prior to this collection, I’ve purchased about 7 bottles of pinks like this and only 2 made the cut – they had to be easy to apply, not streaky, doesn’t make my nails look too yellow, isn’t too thick but must give the right amount of coverage for a french manicure….

You know, during the time when I was pregnant, my friends and I had a few discussions about confinement. The topics ranged from an experiment a friend of a friend held (had 2 kids, did 1 confinement and tried going without confinement for the 2nd child), and to how Caucasians had a different body constitution from ours (they eat lotsa red meat, we don’t, blablabla) and henceforth they were not affected by these supposed bouts of rheumatism if you don’t follow the confinement rules strictly. Mag passed me this the other day to try, and I was blown away by it! IIRC, the ZA Liquid Eyeliner was released around September last year in 2011, has an ultra fine brush tip which allows precise lining on the eyes – as well as filling in the gaps between the lashes and wears really well! China Glaze Tronica – High Def & Electra Magenta Swatches
I searched high and low for these, and I actually stood in front of them for 10 minutes searching for them because in the bottles, they didn’t look too impressive – I couldn’t spot the holo!
