Honeymoon Part 1: Singapore ✈ Tromsø

This post was drafted when I was still overseas, so… yeah the tone of the post is a little different halfway through I don’t really have the energy nor time to re-write the whole thing! Btw… For itinerary, I don’t have one! It’s 8:57 am in Norway, and we’re on a bus to our last adventure of the Tromsø part of our trip which is 1hr 20mins away. I’m glad I peed before I got on the bus! So far we’ve made... Read More

Some Rimmel polishes

Got them in London from Boots! Hot Shot Bright, neon pink. So bright that my camera went nuts and it turned orange so I had to adjust it a little in Lightroom… and tadah! My fingers are blue. Seriously. Very blue like almost poisoned cos I was swatching some blue polishes and they ALL stained my fingers! *Roars* Pretty color, nice brush.. And IIRC, cheap. LOL. It was a 2 for xx amount promotion in Boots. Not sure if you can find this in Singapore…... Read More

Essence Polish Swatches

Found them in Barcelona. Whew! Thereafter I never managed to find them anywhere in France Guess I didn’t know where to look! Essence Twin Effects The twin effects had really cute names. Troy & Gabriella, Belle and Edward. And as the above suggest, they work best in pairs! But they could be purchased separately, and since I already bought some cremes from Kiko that were similar to the creme part of the pairs… I just bought the glitter... Read More

Kiko Milano Polish Swatches

Some Kiko polishes I got in Rome, Italy. 245 (red)   This cost me 3.90 Euros. The rest (below) are all 1.50 Euros (some promotion going on in store… I saw Kiko in Barcelona again but this time round they had no promos on the nail polishes, so I got make up instead! Prices in Italy and Barcelona were all the same.) 299 (teal blue, pearl-ascent) Reminds me of Zoya Kotori. But this is not as sheer.       301 (purple,... Read More

Accessorize Polishes (from London!)

From the moment I reached Europe I have been popping in and out and in and out of Accessorize shops to the extend where when le husband sees one he will automatically point it out to me. Hahaha. Anyway I was there only for the AWESOME polishes! (Which unfortunately, Singapore shops don’t carry.) Emerald City, Magic, Princess, Pink Spice, Aztec At £4 per bottle they’re pretty okay priced – but it’s a pretty small bottle at... Read More

Lancôme Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara

I saw a new mascara which I didn’t recall seeing in Singapore on the shelves of the EU airports (transitted at Paris, Oslo, Rome…) and picked it up after I double confirmed (thanks Val & Kas!) that it wasn’t avail in Sg yet! Aiyah always like trying new things you know. Haha. It costs me 26 €, which works out to about $43.88 SGD at x 1.688 conversion at Rome’s airport. I got the non waterproof version in 01 Black. The... Read More

Travel. Cannot escape from buying things one. *full of excuses* hehe. So some significant purchases in Italy and Barcelona… Ferragamo Heels Have never been a fan of Ferragamo, but which girl doesn’t love shoes, especially when the heels are so pretty!? Costs 318 € before VAT refund. This was at sales price marked down from $450 IIRC. Bottega Bracelet I saw it in pink… And the rest was history. Happy color! Costs 160 €... Read More

Quick Japan Loot (July 2011) Review

It’s been almost 6 months since I came back from Hokkaido/Tokyo in July 2011, so this is really overdue PLUS I’ve reviewed quite a fair bit of the stuff I’ve used, so here goes: FANCL HTC COLLAGEN TABLETS Don’t really need to explain why I bought it – the bottled ones are TOO HEAVY to carry back! So this became the best buy from JP whenever I’m there – at 1500+JPY per packet it’s much cheaper than SG’s... Read More

Travelogue: Hokkaido ✈ (Day 1) @ Furano, Farm Tomita, Ashibetsu

(Geez.. I’m super back dated. This trip was in July.) Our Day 1 plan was to head to Furano, where Farm Tomita is located at (for the lavender fields!) which was about anything from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours from Sapporo (depending on if you took the bus, JR, chartered, drove via the highway or small roads etc and if you’re willing to pay toll!) Toll is about 1800 – 2500 JPY depending on where you’re traveling from/to. That’s... Read More

I think we would have tried this should we have stayed on another night.   Jacket I got randomly.
